Hey everyone, do you think this coin will grade cleanly? The pictures are clipped but all the issues are visible. I am pretty sure it won’t but wouldn’t mind your opinions. Thanks.
I don't believe that will grade outright. From the scans, it appears it could have been cleaned, and there also appears to be damage from the rim that has extended into the surfaces of the coin. This would be given a details grade.
Looks to me like it had some corrosion that was cleaned off, judging by the pitting in areas. Details coin. Kind of a neat design though.
