Does the U.S. Mint sell clad coin webbing at any of it's gift shops? Just wondering how someone can acquire many hundreds (perhaps thousands) of these in 5,10 and 25 cent styles and offer multiple listings on ebay. I purchased 100 clad quarter web pieces for $20.00 shipped for another venue.

I visited the Philly mint last fall and was hoping they would have something like that, either waffled coins or webbing. Unfortunately, they didn't.

Beware - you could wind up getting lots of exercise and fresh air in the big beautiful outdoors as a guest of the state :stop:

I couldn’t focus on the article after it repeated “The mint for stamping.”

I have seen these on what I would consider legit dealers websites myself. Large sheets too. Far too large for a mint employee to stuff in his lunchbox.

Thank you all for this info. Rest assured I will be attempting to track this backwards and get the info I need and report it. I already have gastro intestinal problems, I don't need to spend time with Bubba.

Update-the ebay seller is whitebass2008. All of the items like this are now gone. I have to back track this on Pay Pal now. Will keep you posted. Edit-I cannot locate an address on the person through Pay Pal but his name is Ronnie Kaufman.
