Because the threads end up on here, and technically when he posts them on a public forum, they become public knowledge, and it becomes a public affair.
Oh ok. My apologies to you. In that case, can you clear up the paypal situation you went through? I never found the thread but someone had said that you were overdrawn on your paypal account and then opened a new one to avoid paying the original bill. I assumed it was because of the scenario we were describing (buying something and then not having the money). Since that wasn't the case, what did happen?
I did not open a new account to avoid paying the debt, I opened a new account, so I would not get kicked off eBay. Anyone who makes the assumption that I wrote the debt off, to never pay a dime on it, is not correct. I had one Paypal account, in good standing. I had six coins I needed to pay for, I paid for 3 using instant transfer. The money that was going to come from the bank, had to be used for an emergency. I phoned Paypal and explained this to them, they said not to worry, just pay the negative balance off in 60 days. So now I get more money. I have a paypal account in the red, that I have 50 some odd days left to pay, I also had 3 coins I needed to pay for. Now if you didn't pay for those coins, the sellers would filed unpaid item disputes, and that could of resulted in me getting kicked off eBay. But on the other hand, I had 50 some odd days to pay Paypal back, and that's more than enough time to get the funds for that debt. So I opened another Paypal account. Keep in mind in says right on their site you can have two accounts, I can even give you the link if you don't believe me. I paid the sellers of the 3 coins. In the mean time of putting some money away to pay Paypal ( I put away like 25% each time I got money), they called me and said you cannot open a new account, if one is negative. I was never told this, never read of this, and never heard of this. Since I "circumvented" their accounts policy, they banned me for life. I still made an attempt to pay the debt, but when I called in, they said they no longer wanted to speak to me, and it didn't matter if the debt gets paid for. I sent them an email about 5 days ago, asking for a way to pay it off, which they never returned.
OMG - fellow CT'ers we need a friendly "intervention" and corrective education for our friend Detecto. He just doesn't get it. I really would like for him to learn, to collect responsibly and to continue being a member of our discussion community. At the rate he is going I am concerned for him.
I see. That does seem unfortunate. However I have to ask... "I had six coins I needed to pay for, I paid for 3 using instant transfer. The money that was going to come from the bank, had to be used for an emergency." Isn't this precisely why it is a bad idea to buy coins (or anything) when you don't have the money yet? And isn't this effectively buying on credit as I said above, which you said never happened?
Dammit, you can't go shooting everybody for being fiscally stupid - for crikes sake you would wipe out the whole freaking US government in one fell swoop!
If it takes you 2-3 days to get the scratch to buy a coin, maybe buying coins isn't the smartest thing to do currently. I know personally if I didn't have any money I wouldn't be buying coins with the only cash I get in a few days.
When the expected money doesn't show up for some reason, we'll find Detecto knocking over liquor stores to pay the BIN.
So I'm assuming your first account was a personal account? So do you have a business to open a second business account or did you qualify sales volume wise to open a premier account? And did you try linking the same bank account to both paypal accounts or was it a different bank account? [h=3]Can I have multiple PayPal accounts?[/h] Yes. You can hold up to two PayPal accounts at any time in the following combinations: One personal account and one premier account. One personal account and one business account. One premier account and one business account. Each account must have its own email address and bank account.

I would still say a liquor store if you were looking just for cash. If you were looking for a product to re-sell then ofcoarse a pharmacy would make sense, but that would require too much effort.
Never happened?? You just admitted (above in bold) that it DID happen! You bought the coins and for whatever reason, could not pay for them, so you really did NOT have the money. Also, you have done this in the past too... remember the Teletrade buyer's premium ordeal? Tim, I do not for one second believe that starting another paypal account was an innocent mistake. This all is just an excuse and another attempt to portray yourself an innocent victim. If you can call paypal to try and get back in, you just as easily could have called before starting the second account, but chose not to. Simple.. you DON'T buy it. You either contact the seller and ASK or cross your fingers and hope for the best instead of playing these kid games. Maybe you should view this lifetime paypal ban as a blessing in disguise, or at least until you understand that no one should have to cater to your whims. That's not the point! This is not your decision to make. If you can use another account to sell (even though you’ve often claimed you do not sell on the bay), be it mommy's, daddy's or a friend's, how come you cannot use it when buying too? You were the one who screwed up with paypal, so deal with it and stop expecting sellers to accommodate you because of your mistake.
