Only $50,000? What a bargain. I'm going to click buy before any of you decide to snap it up, and sit back and light my $400 cigar with a $100 bill to celebrate this smart purchase. Then I'm going to call my real estate agent to find out how my investment in "Sunken Acres" by the Everglades is doing. My agent said it was a good investment before he took my two briefcases full of money and boarded his private jet while shouting "So long sucker". Must be the way they say "Good Bye" up north. He hasn't returned my calls since then, but I'm sure he'll pick up this time.
The problem with buying ancients on eBay is that 1/3 are fake, 1/3 are atributed wrong and/or overpriced (usually both), and 1/3 are genuine and priced correctly. It is literally a minefield. I don't know how those of you who buy on eBay do it. I don't want that hassle. It only took me 15 seconds on eBay just this moment to find a forged ancient....
At least you aren’t in the ancient Chinese coin minefield. At least 60% is fake on eBay. Tonight the ratio was 4/1 fake to real. There are only around 10 sellers on eBay who consistently sell genuine Chinese stuff at realistic prices.
