Patience is the key here. On some screens it took over 10 minutes for the next screen to come up. I also, like others, got the white screen of death but a click on my refresh button got me back to the cart and quick checkout.

 

I got right on using that technique while others were waiting.I also used it when the site was really busy on the early Spouse coins and it worked then also. Others were waiting hours and I zipped right through.

 

I believe if you call them within a few hours they will do it for you manually.

 

It's 3:30pm and you can just stroll right onto the site and put a set into your shopping cart with no waiting.

 

I finally got through it took me about 30 minutes and I just got my email from the mint

 

It is 3:42 PM EST and I got through the checkout. Tried earlier today and could not make connection to the site. No email confirmation yet.

 

May be bad news. My order status shows as suspended. Call to the mint went unanswered. I guess I'll have to wait it out.

 

Yeah, it would suck to have ordered a set and have the Mint cancel your order.

But I ordered mine at 1:45 pm. Happy Happy Joy Joy.

I was unable to call or go online until after 1 PM central time due to the high volume. I still managed to order 3 sets by logging out and logging back in as a different user. I'm happy as a clam now.

Next, go to ebay and watch the prices soar. :hail:

 

That's not necessarily bad news. The mint often shows orders as "suspended" until it goes through their system. Keep checking your orders status. It should change to show "back ordered". Does it show an expected ship date?

 

I got two orders, one for me and one for my gf. I'm in happy land tonight! I'm hoping to be as lucky at Texas Hold'em tonight.
