Good luck to you Danr, hang in there and be patient with the pages/process... might not get a chance after the next few days cause it might sell out.

    I got in at 1:25 with order # 33171xxx

Keep trying it takes a while but seems much easier now than when I started at 12:00

Anyone know if i can add like a 2009 Uncirculated Mint Set to my order if it's already placed? Maybe by calling or something? TIA!

    Congrats!
and it's normal that they say back ordered right away since they don't ship until a later date... in the next few days look for US Mint email confirmations, also check your online order status in the coming days to see if it says 'In Stock & Reserved' and wait for the shipping confirmation email or you may get a call from UPS if the delivery requires a signature to be delivered. Check your credit card statement near the date the Mint is planning to start shipping the sets. Mine CC often doesn't get charges that appear from the Mint until a few days after the coin arrives.

10 minutes to place order, 15 minutes to complete transaction. I have a lot of practice with this type of thing from the early Spouse coins. Those were MUCH harder to get through. The trick is to use several windows (or tabs) and refresh a lot.

I'm not sure I go for that approach as you are trying to hit the site with many attempts, seems counter intuitive. I know this idea seems like it works but I have seen the idea discussed in some thread why it doesn't help a bit. I'm glad you were able to get your order placed any which way that worked for you. Patience and persistence and being an early bird seems like the best practice with the US Mint on release day.

I keep on getting a blank payment screen. Really frustrating.

Wow. That was a long 135 minutes. I don't know what is a better sight to see, the confirmation window or the fat man dancing around his computer at work doing a jiggy dance of joy.

Never did get through on the computer but I finally got through on the phone and got my order in. I probably still have one in my shoping cart online. :smile

Hi all, wish everyone that's trying to get there order in , took me about 1 hour 15 mins to get mind in, I had two computers on and was lucky. I hope, as others said in post they show back order and orders goes OK. I tried calling US MINT on phone tried redial about 100 times:headbang: and gave up on that.
What gets me is US MINT knew that this would be a big sell out and they should of made it easy for people to order, people that don't have computers are most likey out of luck trying to call.I work 3rd shift and this noon stuff stinks.
