Do we have any Chinese speakers who can help me figure the inscriptions on this one out? Silver dollar sized, appears to be gilded bronze:

    Cantonese or Mandarin?

I suspect it is written in Mandarin, as Cantonese is (I believe) the generally less formal language. But I could be completely wrong about that.

Can you get a better picture of the area under the building? Is that writing also?

Is this a piece of marketing? A good for token? A commemorative medal? Any ideas?

Mandarin and Cantonese are written exactly the same.
My Chinese is terrible so the only things I can make out are three characters on the side with the rabbit.
L-R: zhong guo nan(?) = China south(?)
and I'm not sure what the other character is.

My best guess is that its a promo of some kind. probably worth melt value for the bronze. Most random Chinese things aren't really worth too much
