One of the Canadian based sellers I mentioned in the thread, which I was asked to notify about if they listed more fakes, has listed another.: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ISABELLA-CO...93?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item4ac6f9d51d Note this coin the seller sold at the end of May. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ISABELLA-CO...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 It is either the same coin that was returned, or another with nearly identical appearance. Familiarize yourselves with the look of this coin, because this is what high quality fakes look like; they are extremely deceptive when not analyzed in person. This seller has been getting away with selling high quality counterfeits since at least 2009 and they have become quite adept at passing them off. Some of you may criticize me for being so aggressive about this, but I have been hunting these counterfeit sellers for years and do extremely thorough detective work before publicizing someone as a common criminal. I would not even be mentioning this if I were not 100% sure of what I am writing here.
Good afternoon. I'm from Russia, the English language is bad. I read your post. The photographs Japanese coins are made in China. Chvsto I am there, the market is flooded with them, there's a lot of American and Canadian coins and other countries. This is bad. Russian coins are copies. My guess is they are produced in Ukraine. Market is swamped with these coins. If this is useful to you I can post pictures of coins I have a lot of them. we should fight against counterfeiters. Thank you. Sorry for the bad translation.
Thank you strateg. Yes, pictures are always helpful if you can post them. Your English is pretty good actually. =)
They have their own feedback machine too. This account is not selling counterfeits, but is building feedback for them: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=polentfdd009&ftab=AllFeedback&rt=nc Just one more thing to look out for.
