This is probably one of the biggest surprise when I saw this on offer. I have seen pictures of this before and probably have only only seen less than 10 - 20 of this online. Hua Hsing was a bank that was formed under a reformed Government of the Republic of China in Shanghai under the Japanese occupation. Issued only in 1940 and demonetized in 1941, the most common is the 10 fen. image url https://www.omnicoin.com/coins/984053.jpg 4 different denominations are planned - 1, 5, 10 and 20 fen. 10 fen is the most common and 1 fen is also supposedly a circulation coin. Most of these coins I believe were melted down due to the ongoing WWII at that time. Hunting one of this 1 fen down is absurdly hard. The other two (5 and 20 fen) are literally impossible to find - I don't believe that they were ever released in circulation. This is the supposedly circulated 1 fen image url https://www.omnicoin.com/coins/1058628.jpg Even with the environmental damage, this is quite scarce in any condition. In fact this is a lot better than I expected, perhaps aUNC details. Stacks has sold just 6 examples - that shows how scarce this is. I did not expect own one of this to be honest! https://archive.stacksbowers.com/?q=038fdd33-76d0-4270-8256-602663945404 Would like to know more information about this
