China 1914 Fatman Dollar - real or fake?

    I've been offered this Fatman dollar. Its non-magnetic and weighs 24.05 grams.
    The face looks a bit softly struck, but that could just be the photo.

    What does everyone think? I know this is a popular and heavily counterfeited type.

    Ah, I see. Thank you. In comparing yours with the Numista link you provided, they are not the same... or am I missing something?

    Oh wait, I think I know why. Yours is Year 3. The numista example is Year 9. OK.

    Ugly coin even if it is real, which makes passing it up a no brainer.

    Technical weight is meant to be 26.7g if I recall correctly. Definitely underweight and not genuine.
