While going through a bag of mixed coins that I purchased from the elderly Gentleman (The best coin deal I have ever made thread!), I separated out all of the Buffalo Nickels. There was about 50 or so Buffalo Nickels in the bag and when I looked at about the tenth one, I noticed that it was a 1937 so I flipped it over and sure enough it was a "D" Mintmark. With anticipation I moved the Loupe up to the Buffalo and sure enough, there it was, only three legs at which point I nearly crapped in my drawers.<img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie9" alt="" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /> The coin looked pretty good so I set it aside for further review. Well, on about the 25th or so Nickel I found another one that you could definitely tell that it was altered.
