Is it worth upgrading from the 4th edition?

The addition of commem's and bullion was worth the upgrade for me.......

They've added some new varieties and earmarked some for the Appendices due to "lack of interest". These won't be dropped, its just that in the 6th Edition, they'll be moved from the body of the book (with pictures) to the Appendix sections (with no pictures).

Judging from your response, I can't think of a real good reason that you should run out and purchase one since other than the basic format and the addition of new varieties, its still Volume II of the CPG.

Perhaps at the next major show you attend, one of the supply dealers will have one for you to peruse.

Volume II doesn't cover 1c-5c. Volume I does.

Yes. But the 5th edition of Vol I is not the new one that is upcoming. I got confused, and am waiting for the new ones too.

    Thanks

Vol. I goes to the year 1997 on small cents. The next new Vol., I do not know what it will contain. I will ask Bill, when I see him, or I will email him and find out. Just found out. The new book will cover Half Cents through Commemoratives and Gold.

Yes I know thank you. I thought that 5th edition Volume 2 would have those place have the most recent dates but it on the washington quarters it says 1932 to date and the last date they have in here is 2009.
