Ok,,,heres my lattest pickup...a nice Unc. (MS-63ish Im thinking) Morgan raw, dated 1879-S. I go for quality and the obv. is a nice pl with Morgans face having amazing frost for the grade... The rev. is prob a MS-64 but unfortunatly with little frost or mirrors...Now I eventually (after my Gettysburg comes back in maybe a month +) would like to send this Morgan in to NGC and be slabbed/// however I would also like to remove some of the toning that has occured over the yrs and do not have any of the silver dip stuff that most people use ... I would like to hear any suggestions about how with home-products one can NOT clean a coin but "take it for a bath." Now I like orig. coins and hate overdipped Morgans so Im not looking to soak it in HCL acid for 24 hrs or something like that. Also I have included pics of the ribbon on the rev. and just from hearing around with VAMs that there is one where there appear to be horizontal lines insidethe ribbon which I believe may be the case here...any comments on that are also much appreciated Ive visited VAMworld but cant seem to pin-point it...Happy New Year to all and heres to another yr of coincollecting

-Dom
