Yeah, for a coin like that to be anywhere near that price it would probably have to be in a holder. Let's just hope no one falls for this trick.

Well guys and gals the seller has removed his coins off ebay and has probably skipped the country. the coins he has is getting awful close to looking real. these fake double struck coins can be told from real by looking at how much details is left from the first strike or strikes. Ebay may have got rough on him ....

 

If it is fake then why is it not slabbed a a fake?

 

because only genuine mint coins are slabbed. this is one thing the TPG companys are for is to weed out the fake coins. sometimes a fake will get by them.
