Give me your thoughts, I'm pretty sure I know what it is but I'm no error expert so I would love to hear your thoughts. The reverse is perfectly centered.

Since one side appears deeper than the other, I'm leaning more toward the idea of a tilted collar or hammer die.

That's probably an optical illusion. I took this slightly slanted with the phone camera and I was trying to get the best appearance of it. Mostly the coin is as thick at 12 as it is at 6.

Also, I will check out the weight and report it this afternoon.

You've got a horizontal misalignment of the obverse (hammer) die.

    Weight is 3.1 grams.

Any idea of value on something like this?

    The
two 2014 cents. I have a box of them 1971 ,1972 and 1973 were pretty common like that.

I have roll searched all denominations strongly for 6 years. I have NEVER seen a misaligned die THAT far off. I have sold some half as strong as that for almost $4. IMO if you listed it on ebay for say a 7-10 day auction it would be worth the 5 minutes.

Yea, I've seen some minor misalignments that I didn't even consider and threw back into circulation. This one is different and a keeper for sure.

definitely the minute ones are spenders. when you see one that raises your eyebrows a little and makes you think maybe off center...someone might want it. depending on grade of course.

I have no idea except an inkling that I don't think it would be very much over face.
