    T8's are actually not hard to find in very high quality, compared to other contemporary issues. Not sure why.

    I'd imagine that alot of CSA notes are in great condition because... they were only valid a few years.

    They are paper, but not wood pulp paper, they are linen paper. The 50 cent note of 1864 was the the true wood paper note.
