Hello gents, I was going through my collection to look for some larger value coins and found 4 CC's in capsules... Can anyone be kind enough to: 1. Guess a potential grade. 2. Is it worth sending in? Yes/No 1. Potentially Proof Like? 2. 3. Potentially Proof Like...she really wanted an eyebrow piercing. 4.
Thanks. Drat.... I need to either join a Collectors Club or use ANACS.... I think. Any TPG in Dallas,TX ?
Why not join NGC for the $39 membership for 1 year. Then submit them plus 1 other coin for the 5 coin minimum.
I have found coins in my collection that I have forgotten about, but seriously doubt that I would have ever forgot about those. Nice.
Not that they aren't nice coins, but I don't understand the need for getting them graded. I'd grade them: 1. MS-62 PL 2. AU-55 3. MS-61 (slim chance at PL) 4. MS-63 I don't see much benefit to having them graded unless you just prefer graded coins. IMO, for resale, you would do better leaving them raw.
If ask nicely is coded for paying me lots of money, then yes. Could look at it both ways. Some people prefer less risk and more of a guarentee, hence will open up more bidders. Thanks, may just get em all graded and be done with it. I have to send in some other stuff actually. Ouch $30 bucks a coin and 12 working day lag. Yikes.
I have used NGC Economy/value $18. Yes, a longer wait getting them back, but if you are going to keep them for a while, that is a wiser deal. I have 5 Peace & Morgans in at NGC now along with 19 other coins right now at the Economy/value tier. Their status is in grading now. Submitted on May 22.
Don't think I can use this tier because of the value of the coins and I do not plan on holding on to them.
If you want to submit to ANACS, they have this July 4th Promo going on: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/2-free-anacs-grading-submissions.265175/
