    Not to demean your pictures, but I cannot tell if that coins is cut half way through from each side or if it is notched from the edge in. It looks like the former, but that doesn't fit well with my understanding of either a spur or a pie cutter.

    I don't have one but I have seen them before. I've even seen one made from a chain cent.

    I wonder how well it cut pies...or how many pies it cut....what kind of pies?

    Very cool coin Charmy, even a damaged coin can end up being a cool one
