Later that day, I even "cherry picked" off another dealer a beautiful 1869 Indian cent in NGC MS65 RB that he hadn't noticed was the S-3 1869/69! That was my best buy in a long time. (Someone on the PCGS forum even mentioned nominating me for a "You Suck" award for that purchase!)</p><p><br /></p><p>Then Saturday I participated in the kids' treasure hunt. They put a little lady bug sticker on my case and the kids had to try and find it. When they did, they got a new 2009 penny! It's so fun watching these kids get excited when they found the ladybug and saw the bright shiny penny they got!</p><p><br /></p><p>I also found a really pretty 1909 proof Indian cent and bought a beautiful 1897 PF67 toned Indian cent from Rick. Can't wait to get Todd to photograph that one for me!</p><p><br /></p><p>It was especially wonderful seeing Arizona Jack again. I was able to buy a beautifully toned Lincoln cent and a nice large cent off Jack. And it was like old times again, going to dinner at the usual great Mexican restaurant, then off to the casino to play poker on Friday night. Only this time his wife joined us too! We played 3/6 limit hold-um where no one ever folds and EVERYONE stays in to the river! Even though I didn't win anything that night, we all had a great time - I think Jack ended up ahead, and even Rick ended up playing blackjack and winning in the end.</p><p><br /></p><p>Then around 6 pm on Saturday, I was finally on my way to meet my husband in Glamis for a couple days camping and offroading in the sand dunes of the Imperial Desert. The weather was perfect, though the time went by pretty quickly. We even stopped at the local pizza/bar joint to catch of glimpse of the Chargers playoff game (since my hubby is a Chargers/Padres fan). We headed back to camp when they were ahead, only to get back to camp and find out the Chargers had lost! Wow, was my husband disappointed! He had to have another rum and coke just to drown his sorrows.... <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie3" alt=":(" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /></p><p><br /></p><p>Now we're back home, but wow is the rain coming down and the wind blowing hard! We sure need the rain here in SoCal, but it makes unloading the trailer and cleaning up the buggy kinda tough - that's why I'm able to make this post now, instead of later!</p><p><br /></p><p>And last, but not least, Todd has sent me photographs of all my FUN newps, so look for them to be posted here on CT over the next few days.
