Very cool getting to meet you Charmy, and I appreciate all the publicity you've given my fine little city here!! :thumb: Today was the only day I could stop by the show and I guess it turned out to be the biggest turnout day from what I've heard. The weather was crazy all week long, raining cats and dogs both Thursday and Friday and now the wind has started getting super aggressive and angry. Lucky I'm inside now and like someone said, one day wasn't enough for that huge show! I still wasn't able to pick up a Sacramento national note 1929. Oh well, sometime soon and hopefully at the next show. I was able to pick up some silver tho' and met tons of ppl so that was cool in itself. Yeah, another great show!! Life is good!!
Thanks everyone! I finally made it home late last night after a long wet and windy drive! It's still cold and windy outside but the rain has subsided here, and I'm warm and cozy sitting in front of a blazing fire, having a steaming cup of coffee, catching up on some missed episodes of my favorite shows (Survivor, Criminal Minds, etc.), checking my emails and of course the CU forum. Later, I plan to go through all my newps and add them to my inventory and soon my website once Todd stops lazing around his usual coffee shop and gets my photos to me! Sacramento is a neat city, full of history and some great architecture, as well as a lot of wonderful people. I met some new forum members, visited with some regular forum members as well as lots of old friends. I think overall the show was much busier and better attended than anticipated. From the dealers I spoke to, they had a better show than they had expected, though admittedly some had low expectations. Being part of the kids' treasure trivia, I saw more kids at this show than I usually doe at other ANA's, so the ANA is doing a great job getting more and more kids in the door, which is indeed a good sign for the future of coin collecting! Now I'll take a few days to regroup, then it'll soon be time to get ready for BALTIMORE!!!
