I was not angry, just felt he should have followed through, and that it is never too late to apologize for a wrongdoing.</p><p><br /></p><p>Now back to my show report and the questions about my exhibit, I have no idea who the judge was or why he felt the need to give me such a low score, especially compared to the other 2 judges who scored by exhibit. </p><p><br /></p><p>Having exhibited at several shows now, I certainly understand how the exhibits are scored, but just as in coins, their scoring and opinions are obviously subjective. Otherwise, there wouldn't have been such an extreme variance in the scores between this one judge and the other judges who have judged my exhibit - including all the other shows where I've displayed my exhibit and have been awarded either Best in Show (FUN, Long Beach, Houston) or runner up to Best in Show (both ANA's). </p><p><br /></p><p>Many of the winners were regular exhibitors, except for one who well deserved his awards. And I'm not saying the other winners didn't deserve it because there were some wonderful exhibits at this show. But I have heard from several people that exhibiting at these shows can be very "political" with some "nepotism" thrown in, especially among regular exhibitors, but I have no way of knowing whether that was the case here. I'm just chalking this experience up to a very sour judge.</p><p><br /></p><p>I will be taking my exhibit to the PNNA Tukwila this week, and then the Chicago ANA in August, and that will be it.
