He said he was finally going to part with it and knew I was the one who should have it for my exonumia collection.</p><p><br /></p><p>When I originally set up my Penny Potpourri exhibit, it including photographs of the original envelope, notecard and tiny box that were issued with the tiny teapots that were created by prisoners.&nbsp; I had searched for the original paperwork and/or teapot box but never could find them, except the one in Richard Burdick’s collection.&nbsp; And he had been gracious enough to let me use photos of the card and box for my exhibit.</p><p><br /></p><p>Well, Richard finally decided to part with the envelope, postcard and teapot box and offered the entire set to me for my collection and now I am the proud owner of these rare documentation to my penny teapot collection!&nbsp;
