Thanks everyone, I really enjoyed visiting Baltimore in the summer and never felt unsafe. I heard attendance for a summer show was down but, for me, those who attended knew what they were looking for an spent some money when they found it.

Paddy, I didn't know the Taney was at Pearl Harbor. Fyi, my dad who just turned 94 is one of those Pearl Harbor survivors and yes, I'm guessing there are not much more than a couple handfuls left.

Once again, another fantastic show report Charmy. I never tire of reading them.

Sorry to hear of Ricks loss. What you dealer folks have to put up with and how you endure the grind is unfathomable to me. Then, to suffer a loss of that magnitude. It's sickening.

Sorry for the disparaging comment, just that sometimes I think that I'm so smart..... but I ain't! Very nice report, and I would have liked to have been there.

    Charmy ,
Please thank your dad for his service , and God bless him!
My father in law is the same age, a veteran of both Europe as well as the Pacific Theaters. He served in the army fought in the battle of the bulge. Then liberated the death camps across Europe. Then resigned to the invasion force to take Japan.
Well we all know the rest of the story.
The men and women who served were of the greatest generation ever. God Bless them all!
And no way discounting the Veterans of Korea, Vietnam Nam, and ,all whom have worn the uniform .

    I stand corrected.....
USCGC Taney (WPG/WAGC/WHEC-37) is a United States Coast Guard High Endurance Cutter, notable as the last ship floating that fought in the attack on Pearl Harbor, although Taney was actually moored in nearby Honolulu Harbor not Pearl Harbor itself.

    PL,

As usual, thanks for the detailed description of your adventures in Baltimore!

I did not know the Capital Grille had complimentary
hors devours. I'll have to check it out.

The Baltimore Coin Club staffs the admission counters. I always buy a six pack of gold coin raffle tickets while going through the admissions process and encourage others to buy raffle tickets as well.
They're a dollar a piece or six for five bucks.
The coin raffles are a major source of income for the club.
Just might win one of the gold coins one of these days.
