As I walked the beach with my metal detector a beachside resident asked some coin questions. Then he walked out with coins from his grandfather. In the nicest box were some gold items and this from a charm bracelet. Didn’t do too good on the hand held pics. There are two of these. Very thin. Any thoughts invited.

Yeah, I didn’t have my test kit. Told him a visit to a local jeweler would be worth his time if we couldn’t get back together. Some of his other stuff
If the coin is thin, has Arabic or imitation Arabic writing on it, and has a hole, it is probably a brass "belly dance" costume token. If you think it is gold then take it to a jeweler.
Next time don't put the lens so close to the coin, that's why it's blurry It looks like there could be gold in there, but a jeweler would know best. Warning! Some jewelers will clip a coin or scrape it without giving it a second thought. I had a love token bracelet appraised and the jeweler cleaned it without asking first. Be careful taking it to a jeweler.
