Any chance you'll go after the gold Merc and Walker?

Yeah, the argument that was used on me was that'll they will keep each other company. But nobody mentioned x 2 vet bills.......

There's no vet bills for gold coins. Or, for any coin in that regards.

 

Probably not. I am not much of a modern gold guy. Just have always loved the SLQ design...... But now that you mention it... That Merc looks pretty spectacular too....

Well seriously... This is an absolutely marvelous place for us stricken with the disease called coin collecting. There are some educated minds here that just blow me away. And as with any public place, there are some that will challenge you or correct your grammar and such. I once had a young fellow just blister me over some comments about coin purchases in the late 1970's. Young man didn't quite understand we didn't have internet and Ebays and such back then. If you do run into that sort of thing early on please don't let it dissuade you. This seriously is a fantastic place filled with some pretty cool and darned smart folks.

Not to keep walking on your thread Randy, but I would ask the folks here to bear with me a while until I get the intricacies of this forum software figured out. I will say it's a bit more intuitive that some other collecting forum I belong to.

The gold one has this brilliant, gold-like luster to it versus the silver ones as below.

 

The itch is scratched..... Sadly, it is easier to view my new SLQ with these photos than in hand.

 

It's a beautiful, classic design and presents well in gold. Are you sure you don't have the Merc and Walker itch too? Wait, maybe that's just me...
