Big, big fan of standing liberty quarters. Also am a fellow that likes to purchase his gold at or near spot prices. I don't know if I am trying to talk myself into or out of purchasing one of the 2016 centennial 1/4 oz. gold SLQ's. Best I have found is about $425.00 and that's just not a good value for a 1/4 ounce of gold to me.... Except that I love the design. So I am wondering if anyone else has one and do you see it as an eye grabber or just another coin in the safe?

Wait for 10% ebay bucks and find one for 400. I see one right now for 400 fixed. $360 is above melt but not by a lot.

Don't do a whole lot with Ebay. That may be enough of a savings for me to look a bit closer at it...... Funny, I will drop ridiculous figures for silver coins but get squeaky cheap when it comes to gold.

I see one for $398 free shipping. I'm sure the seller would be ok to switch to US Coins category. Down to $358.2. You're it.

I have one to close out my SLQ collection.
Nice to look at since it's gold too.
The longer you wait in years, the lower the prices will get to spot, although spot will deviate in the future.

if you look closely, it looks like someone got a haircut over top of it. There's short hairs all over that thing !!

I think it's just on the outside, from the box felt and fabric.

Dang! That quick? I am turned on to one for a flat 400.00. When my dealers answers my email tonight telling me if he does or doesn’t have one. I am jumping on the 400 dollar one in the am. Thanks.

One gold SLQ in government packaging is currently en route in spite all the efforts to talk me out of scratching that particular itch!:):):)

I'm guessing the U.S. Mint will make a 1oz gold bullion 2021 Peace dollar commemorative.

Same as they did in 2016 for the 100th anniversary of the Merc dime & SL quarter & WL half.

But if the U.S. Mint completely misses the boat, the private sector will step-up.

For starters, Dan Carr (Moonlight Mint) has promised 2021 Peace dollar silver similar to the 1917 fantasy overstrike and the 1917 2oz medal.
