I recently found this cent and was curious as how it would apparently be missing some metal. The copper coating is intact. I don't figure there is a premium on this coin but it wouldn't matter as I am pretty much a hoarder and now that it has caught my attention it's not going anywhere
I agree it's damaged but I believe that the damage occurred before the copper coating went on. There aren't any scratches or gouges in the copper coating. I'll try and enlarge the area in question and post it. I tried enlarging one but I got an error message so I will have to keep playing with it. Thanks
