This is regarding the post ASE for spot in which the OP found Eagles for spot as a internet special so apparently several others got one ok and I went for an ASE and a $160 1/10th oz gold eaglet. This deal has gone south fast. Read the repost below of what i dropped in the original thread. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Its been 5 days and my bank still shows the card charge as 'pending'<br>I going to call and ask for a ship date. I have one other little thing I want to ask them about as well.<br><br>This makes the first and only time I have used this credit card online in 6 months.<br>The same day and hour USCoins charge hit my bank, a charge of $15.99 hit as well.<br>Its from edited in Nicosia, Cyprus. Im not much for long distance internet dating, <br>whatever the **** that might be be and I sure as **** would not whip out my credit card in such a place (or anything else)<br><br>So... as my bank prepares to cancel all my accounts and I get to go thru account changes like you would with lost or stolen cards, I advise anyone who gave USCoins their credit card to look for a odd charges on that card. Obviously I cant directly blame USCoin, that wouldnt be fair but the coincident is just to great. It has to be related. Perhaps USCoins has been hacked?
Oh man. Sorry for your luck silvermonger. Sounds like you will not lose money though, so that;s something I guess. Thanks for the warning.
I wanted to add: It is very possible that USCoins had nothing to do with it. It could be related speficially to you. Possibly a keylogger or packet sniffer that recorded your Credit Crad information. Just something to think about. It sounded like some folks in the other thread did receive their proper orders with no additional charges.
Someone cried wolf too early. Only one person claimed that US Coins was fake, I dunno... I guess we'll see if I get mine or not.
That was my headline which I regret and could not edit out a few minutes later. It was in response to trying to call USCoin 800 number and having a phone sex line answer instead of USCoin. That led me to think the whole deal was bogus. I tried again later and the lady said she had been getting wrong numbers all day and like me a lot of other folks were surprised when she answered. Then I got a grain company in Nebraska and that afternoon I got USCoin finally which reassured me about them being (probably) legit. Maybe I shouldnt have dropped my cell phone in the mud puddle last week? The world seemed upside down yesterday. Now to add insult to injury my bank wants a 17cent surcharge for the $15.99 International charge to the dating service in Cyprus LOL
Not true. I also posted in the original thread that I canceled my order, and had a rather..."shady" experience with them. Very much a case of "too much smoke to not be a fire somewhere" for me.
