I was at a local antique mall with my mom and wife a while back. We were in line to pay and the guy in front of me was paying in $2 bills. His bill was over $50 and he payed the entire bill with those $2 bills. Before he walked away, i took a peek at his stash and asked if he would consider trading me some. We exchanged $10 worth and all was good. They were all 2003's that were in fairly rough shape, so nothing special.. A few weeks later, the next door neighbors 7 year old son and a friend of his rang my door bell and asked if the wife and i wanted to hear a song, "but it costs $1" he said, lol. I told him we didnt have any cash, but as he was walking away, i remembered those $2 bills. I called him back, had him sing his little jingle and handed him a $2 bill. i had it folded when i handed it to him. When he was about half way down the drive way he had unfolded it and kinda stutter stepped.. i heard him make a deep gasping sound. i saw him get all excited and tell his friend that it was a $2 bill. He started running and yelled to the friend " c'mon! I'm gunna go show my mom!". That made my day!

Yesterday the wife and i were washing the car in the driveway and his mom happened to be outside. She said that he made her buy a protector for it and he's got it sitting up in his room. Guess I'm going to have to stock some random notes and coinage for the next time he comes back
