I have a small collection of these. They were really popular at one time. Won most of mine from quarter slot machines back in the day.

I think I had 77 of the $10 Silver Strikes, mostly from Slots-A-Fun and a few from the Stardust in Las Vegas. I sold them all when silver was selling near $45/oz.

I have about 20 of these (and one fake). They are all from difetent casinos. I buy them when the price is right. Nice to look at and show people, but I don't really collect them.

Here are some more. I started getting these in Vegas many years ago and now I find that the dealers let them go go spot or a little less just to move them. I pick up all that I see.

I used to do Vegas when there was nothing but Morgan and Peace dollars flowing (or dribbling) from the slots. When there would be one or a few of these early tokens start showing up, people actually discarded them as "fake" or not worth even counting/cashing in.

Yes, I have about 50, all from Vegas. My favorites were/are the Stardust. Hated to see that place imploded. Also got all four of the Hard Rock Casino guitar series.

yes I have a bunch posted them in the exo thread. With the current shortage of bullion and PM's we are experiencing price s at the pawn shops and LCS has gone up,and people are holding on to them counting on the spot price going up which it hasn't. And people don't believe that they only contain .7 to .5 of a troy oz of silver. older

I see these frequently on Live bid and Proxy bid. I never knew they existed.

If memory serves 5 of the Silver Strikes equaled 3 ounces of silver.

I have a couple of them from Vegas and Tahoe.

Not sure where I put them though.

    Same here.
At a $10 face value, I'm ahead of the game.

The $7 strikes are all .999.

I believe that most silver strikes are .625% .999 silver. So at say $28 per oz. they have a melt value of about $17. But they sell for WAY more than that on eBay.

Very confused by this. Which is it? .625% or .999? Can't be both.

The coin is .625% silver content, the silver is .999% pure.
