Very first roll. 0FF7A899-944D-45CE-BCD1-1E8BE74DA095.jpeg But what an excitement roll! Also possible ghosting on the 1954. 2 buffalos, 1 silver with 5 rolls! Yes sir, :)

    Excellent finds! If that's a 1916 check it for the 16/16. That was an overdate year. There is a slight price difference if it is an overdate. Hehehe

    When I was a kid in the late 60s and early 70s I had rolls and rolls of Jefferson nickels minus the 39-D and 50-D. Dealers didn't want them, so off to the bank they went. Still worth the same amount 50 years later.

    I find it so weird how easy it is to find pre-60 nickels today.

    Was I supposed to save those?
    I cant keep everything :D

    Seriously though, when the Indian casinos came to town 30 years ago I used to pluck nickels like those from the nickel slots.
    After filling up a few boxes and sitting on them for years, I finally did a quick search for silver and very fine condition nickels.
    The rest went back into the wild.
