1 DWT = 0.05 troy ounces, so they are advertising that they'll pay from $1385 to $1510/oz of gold.

 

DWT means pennyweight. 1 pennyweight = 1.55517384 grams

Actually my very inexpensive ($40) pocket scale offers dwt as one of 4 options to weigh in. They already have the k weight vs value converted for you, so it is very easy to figure out. Weather or not it's a good deal for you is your own call.

 

Well, I ain't sellin'. I's just askin'.........

 

I'll just say I've seen worse quotes and unlike a pickpocket, you can simply say no. I have no idea what my local jewelers or coin dealers are offering.
