I know this is true for the spitting eagles especially. No coin, rightfully so, would approach one of them. Who wants to get spit on?
I do remember a past flame named Susan, and if memory serves, there was a last name Anthony in there. I'll just bet there was a middle initial B in the mix somewhere, but not all together at the same time.
"Steel Cage Death Match - Susan B. Anthony vs. The Eagle on the Back of the Morgan Dollar". WrestleMania THAT!
It is a typical GSA CC Morgan. The reverse is decent, but the obverse has a ton of bag marks. MS 61-62, no higher. If it were not in a GSA uncirculated slab, I would think it an AU coin. Obverse is not very attractive.
I would sell it. It's a common CC Morgan with a low uncirculated grade. If it's your only 84-CC look for a better one. That's my opinion.
These are the real photos of my CC BU 1884 silver dollar: I would never get rid of his because I bought it back in 1972 or 1974 with a nice note from President Nixon.
