Because it isn&#039;t in &quot;that&quot; good of shape I would say its probly less than &#039;good&#039;, so Red Book shows G4 is worth $30 or less.</p><p>I wasnt really bidding on that coin. The auctioneer thought it was an old cent, but he also thought an 1877 Liberty Seated dime and a 1857 Flying Eagle were just &#039;old pennies&#039; too. Since I had looked at them earlier I knew different, so the bidding war was on with one other fellow. Up to $18 we went (a 50 cents at a time) before I stopped the auctioneer short as he was pumping me for more, and I asked &quot;this is for all three coins and not choice right?..&quot;&nbsp; when he confirmed all three I said &quot;oh yeah&quot; as I raised my thumb. Well, the other guy immediately stopped bidding like he knew he already lost, so I got all three for $19. </p><p><br /></p><p>I think the Liberty Dime alone will be worth about $100-125 (with that cc mintmark!):kewl:[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
