Sorry. Forgot to back up. This is the page http://www.cointalk.com/t144634/. The original picture is still missing in the OP.
More than once. The picture I reposted is there fine, but the picture in the OP is blank. All it says is "Attached Thumbnails". However, from what I have checked, right now the only ones I am missing are the last 2 http://www.cointalk.com/t144634/ and http://www.cointalk.com/t144640/. Both of them have been reposted, so I guess I can live with that. Oh! And the last page of File Upload Manager is still blanks
FWIW, the icons in my File Upload Manager have reappeared as well as the original pictures in the threads I referenced earlier.
You're traveling through another dimension -- a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination.
Peter, I know that some of us drove this into the ground after the last update earlier this year, but is anything being done about the "wide-bodied" threads like the one I've linked? http://www.cointalk.com/t145084/ I know that you and others have said that it is a problem with my browser, but I still think that is a bunch of baloney. You may recall when I first joined CT, that I asked you why my photos were posted as thumbnails, and you corrected that. I was able to view other threads for about two months and none of them had issues with being 3x, 4x and 5x wider than the photos until that last update. I really hope you can fix this because right now, there are still many threads that I just have to "take a pass on" because of this. I think there are others who still have this problem, too, but they have just given up hope. Chris
If by "wide bodied" you mean that you have to scroll across to read the whole page then this is happening on my computer as well.
Are you two saying this did not work for you? http://www.cointalk.com/showthread.php?t=130526&p=1015467&viewfull=1#post1015467
I'm saying that it's NOT because of my browser. That's a lot of cr@p! It's because of the new protocol that was introduced in the last update. I was participating on these forums for two months (about 2000 posts) without ever encountering a wide thread until the last update. Chris
Chris - I use IE 7 and I don't have any of the problems that you do. All of the threads fit my screen and I don't have to scroll sideways for any of them. I don't know how IE 8 works, but in IE 7 there is a setting that makes pics fit your screen. Have you checked on that to see IE 8 has that setting ? And it seems the uploading problem has been fixed now. At least for me.
Well, goody, goody for you! That still doesn't explain why it worked fine before the update, and it doesn't after the update. You young whippersnappers should learn to read everything before you open your mouth and get your designer sneakers stuck in it. Chris
