There were 3 that had really strong opinions on the subject though, the gist of a lot of back and forth was &quot;there weren&#039;t artists in this time period really besides him, it wasn&#039;t a job or profession for Koreans. Either you were conscripted to fight for Japan, or forced to work in manufacturing or farming for Japan, or you opposed japan and you and your family were hunted, Artist wasn&#039;t something Koreans could do so he was a favored collaborator to be so lucky&quot;</p><p><br /></p><p>True or not, I don&#039;t know, Just an opinion I heard, but they seemed to feel strongly about it.
