Simple fact is that the U.S. has one legal currency and Canadian Coins are not part of it. So for many, they cannot be spent. Sort of like if I went into Canada and tried to use Thailand or Malaysian dollars or coins. Non-banks aren&#039;t going to be accepting them for use in paying for regular merchandise.</p><p><br /></p><p>And I do have a small collection of Canadian coins.
