Hi Andrew, This site (http://www.stanford.edu/~clint/cp/) is a good start...has a fairly good list of most of the Canadian decimal coinage from the earliest up until 2004, including most major varieties. Although in some circumstances it does lists coins minted as proofs, specimens or trials (like the 1911 S$1), not what I would personally include in a 'business strike' collection. Probably wouldn't go by the prices listed there as a 'trends' price list though. Also, it won't provide you with mintage figures if you are after that information. Mintage figures are available on the Royal Canadian Mint website but again I really question how accurate that information really is. Charlton's Standard Catalogue of Canadian Coins is probably your best bet. It will give you a good idea on mintages, including known number of coins returned for melting and in some cases mintage figures for varieties too...as already mentioned might find this at the library. Take care.
