I have a Canada Small Cent collection that consists completely of coins I found in circulation. I hate to contaminate it with store bought coins, but, running out of stuff to collect, I'm considering it. I just have to twist my arm.

I have the same albums and collection. Mine is complete, but I started it because I kept getting so many Canadian coins while coin roll hunting. I have the nickels, dimes, and quarters too. I did end up having to buy some of the earlier cents to be able to fill the book. Looks like you have a good start though.

I found many early ones as a youngster. The later ones were found in Canada as I travelled there on business quite often. Thanks for the feedback.

A few of the varieties (any with a W mark, the 1999 P, and the 2001 P) were only issued in sets, so you'll have to buy those unless you have some incredible luck.

I never mix my circulation found collection with my purchased collection. Completely different animals.
