Hmmmm….I'm thinking no. I don't see the heavy scratches that should probably still be visible for it to be either DDO1 or DDO2 or DDO3. DDO2 is I think, the only sanctioned overdate left. With the coin in hand...can you make out the die scratches above the 4? Your pictures are pretty good...but I can't make any out.
Ya SEGS isnt my first choice in 3rd party grading either, but I would like to think they are better than me since they employ so-called pro graders. But I cant see it. Although I like what Kentucky had to say. At the top right side of the 4, I see a bump that I also see here... https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1914-3-5c/93924
But the top crossbar does not seem to be there. They indicate an End Die State, but not sure if that would cause the effect. SEGS is not a name I ever remember as being a top 4 grading service. If I was a grader it would be " insufficient evidence to authenticate".
I seem to remember seeing an article saying it could possibly get removed from the cherrypickers guide due to inconclusive evidence
The team that originally established the overdate status reversed their positions a few years later on all but 1 (5-6 varieties). Only PCGS...as I understand...authenticate to the DDO1 and DDO2. As Jim points out, the crossbar is essential to attribution for this variety (along with the triangular bump).
