I should also recommend american gold exchange (www.amergold.com), their prices are a bit high, and they are geared for investors, but I've bought coins from them and been satisfied (mostly world bullion). APMEX is another good wholesaler, good prices, big variety, they recently upgraded their pre '33 gold too. I bought a generic 1901-S 5 dollar liberty from them in a PCGS slab, gorgeous coin with a nice orange skin. I guess i got lucky, but I recommend them.

Above all else though, I recommend mark feld. This man really cares about people. He wouldn't sell me a coin I really wanted because he wanted the best for me...it takes a certain kind of person to turn down money for your coin for your well being. After I talked to him, he ended up selling it to me. It's my 1834 classic head...I did a trade in (20 dollar generic liberty) and a check to get it...well it turns out he sells the $20 and instead of pocketing the profits (which he is entitled to) ends up writing me a check for the profit he made.

He has some VERY nice eye appealing coins, ex-NGC grader to boot. Good guy.

www.markfeldcoins.com
