Well, since Rusty decided to bump this thread, I found that I had to go back and re-read it and this is what I came up with.... What a gentleman. I missed an opportunity to meet Mark at last years Coin Fest (October). He stated in this forum that he would be attending and assisting the folks at CAC with their free "green bean" service at this event. I submitted a 2 cent piece which, much to my surprise, came back with a "greeny" designation. I mentioned this in a thread that was devoted to this (Coinfest) event and Mark chimed in that he remembered my coin and commented on what a nice piece it was. I felt truly honored that he would even remember my coin given the number of coins that were submitted that day. Mark is Aces in my book.....
Once last month and once this month I purchased coins from Bellsario Coins. Both coins I was very happy with. The coins were certainly better than their photos, the prices were good, and shipment was very prompt. Usually I don't buy slabbed coins, but these are by my choice. Interesting history the founder has, but think someone else is now running the organization.
You guys are very clever! Regarding online sellers, I can highly recommend www.jjteaparty.com for all kinds of coins, and Rick Snow at www.indiancent.com for quality Flying Eagles and Indian cents.
