Can you ID these bills?

    Helping a friend ID these two bills. He inherited them and doesn't know any background. The blank backed one is on a parchment type paper, while the other is more like linen, being much softer. IMG_0115.JPG IMG_0116.JPG IMG_0117.JPG IMG_0118.JPG

    IDK about the 100, but the 50 is a reproduction, is says "facsimile" on the lower left of the reverse.

    Most bills printed on parchment paper are reproductions
    The first one looks repro for sure, not so sure on the second one.
    Look at the signatures closely. These were hand-signed so if you can see evidence of an actual pen pressing into the paper then you're good. Otherwise, it's fake.

    If fake, value is whatever someone wants to pay for them. Not many people collect repro currency...

    My father went to Virginia on business once and brought me back a pack of 10 repros. Cost:$4.95
