Hello! I found this quarter in pocket change. Both sides of the coin are approximately 3-5% off center. The reeding on the edge of the coin is present but stops around the thicker rimmed side of the coin.

It can't be a MAD when both sides are O/C. The OP was correct in his original estimation. Also, it looks like a "Tilted Partial Collar" rather than a "Railroad Rim". ~ Chris
Question? Could the smear be the result of a worn collar? From multiple planchets being forced into a expanded/deployed collar? Shouldn't there be some kind of lip on the smeared area of the rim if the planchet stayed at an angle during strike?
