Can this 3CS really be MS-64?

    I don't have a great deal of experience with high end trimes, but I would not buy that coin as a 64.

    As for adjustment marks, after the implementation of improvements in the coin mintage process in the 1830s, visible adjustment marks basically disappeared. After this, overweight planchets were filed on the edges, and all evidence of these weight adjustments was removed from the coins as a result of the striking process.
