[QUOTE="JulesUK, post: 5280027, member: 107940"]Hello all. After much website trawling, eye squinting and head scratching I can`t quite fully attribute this Licinius which I picked up for its pleasant patination. Can anyone help me to finalise things for my records please? Here is what I have so far:- OBV: VAL LICINNIANVS LICINNIVS P F AVG: Head of Licinius, laureate, right. REV: IOVI CONSER-VATORI AVGG Jupiter, nude, chlamys draped across left shoulder, standing left, holding Victory on globe in right hand and sceptre in left hand; to left, eagle with wreath. MKVB in ex - Cyzicus mint The Obverse is a bit worn around the edges but with the aid of my trusted magnifying glass I managed to decipher to the above - or as close as. The mintmark seems to be one of the lesser used Cyzicus ones, but I could be wrong. The spacing on the IOVI CONSER-VATORI I hoped would narrow things down a lot more, but it hasn't really. And I am not 100% convinced that Jupiter is holding a Victory on a globe in his right hand - hard to tell. Here is the picture - a bit hastily cropped, so apologies in advance.
