Can someone please tell me more about the value. 1965 with doubling on face and lots of letters.

    @Steve333 DDD is die deterioration doubling and it means that as the die wears, the edges of the recesses in the die crumble or wear and this causes a shadowing of the design that looks like the hub doubling that is desirable. This DDD is actually common and doesn't command any premium. Welcome to CT, but when you change coins, change threads also. Do you collect anything other than errors?

    Check the weight. Maybe a 64 being passed off as a 65

    6.25 g for a 64
    5.67 for a 65
