Hello everyone, digging through some bags of pennies and came across this awhile ago and was wondering if someone might have an idea of a date or tell me what they think this is. The weight of this penny is 1.7 grams and it's thinner than a regular penny.

    Just your thoughts
    Thank you

Sorry, but somebody ground off the obverse and now the zinc is exposed. Since it's a Lincoln Memorial reverse, it had to be minted between 1982-2008

It's totally damaged. The obverse has been ground off.

I've seen some bad zinc exposed cents, but this one tops it!

Obverse has been obliterated and more than likely has been ground smooth.

    Yikes
