Can my dollar bill be worth tons

I read online that depending on the serial number and other information on your dollar bills and other bills they could be worth way more. I was hoping and wondering if anyone has any information about this. Or if someone could help me and let me know if mine is special unique or worth anything.

OK thanks!! Today was the first time I have ever thought about the serial number on bills so I don't know much about it. Would you mind letting me know about this one?

Your serial number is interesting at best, but only worth face value.

 

I also have 1 that'd numbers are L04700550* I cannot load a photo right now as my phone is less then 5 % charged. I've tried to post another comment but was having issues with that also. Hopefully this one will go through.

 

Concerning Serial Numbers. They need to be fancy.

Your bills do not have fancy serial numbers. Face value only.

 

That is considered a star note or replacement note. If you hold on to it for about 20 years it might be worth $1.00 more... Not worth it

 

You don't need to show both serial numbers.. They are exactly the same #
