I've been calling all over the place, as well as visiting numerous coin shops and nobody can tell me anything, they just ask what I want for it.. Any information would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Looks like someone had a good time with a hammer. The smooth suface on the reverse indicates the hammering on the obverse with a few other coins.

That's a scary statement about the quality of the coin shops if they didn't know what this was.

Hmmm, if I was a little less ethical I would be smelling an opportunity!

The other scary thing is.... what are they selling as errors?

But, Condor, according to some people around here, it's taken for granted that ALL dealers are professionals who know what they are doing.

That's so true. I've noticed some dealers selling MD coins as a Doubled Die..
